PixelCrest Inc., operating as PixelCrest Finance, is an accounting and finance company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. We serve businesses across Canada and the United States.

PixelCrest Finance is founded and led by Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs) in good standing with CPA Ontario.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically through the website, and financial data you authorize us to access when we deliver services.

  • Consultation requests: name, company name, business email address, and, when provided, phone number, country, business type, approximate annual revenue, current accounting system, and a description of your financial challenges.
  • Client billing information processed through Stripe. PixelCrest does not store credit card details directly.
  • Website analytics information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and time spent on pages through tools like Google Analytics.
  • Client financial data made available through platforms you authorize, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, A2X, Shopify, Stripe, and similar tools. That data remains in your own platform accounts and is accessed only to perform the services you engaged us for.

How We Use Your Information

PixelCrest does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

  • To respond to consultation requests and communicate about services.
  • To deliver the accounting, reporting, and advisory work you have engaged us for.
  • To process payments through Stripe.
  • To send email communications you have opted into, with the ability to unsubscribe at any time.
  • To improve the website and understand how visitors interact with site content.

Who Has Access to Your Data

Your data is accessed by PixelCrest Finance team members who need it to deliver your services. This may include accounting support team members located outside of Canada and the United States. Team members with access are bound by confidentiality agreements and trained in data handling procedures.

We also use third-party service providers that may process data on our behalf.

Each provider maintains its own privacy policy, and PixelCrest selects vendors that maintain appropriate security standards.

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Google Analytics for website analytics.
  • Google Ads and LinkedIn for advertising tracking.
  • ConvertKit or Mailchimp for email marketing.
  • Calendly for scheduling.
  • QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, A2X, Syft Analytics, Gusto, Shopify, Stripe, and similar finance tooling used to deliver services.
  • Google Workspace for email and file storage.

Data Ownership

Your financial data belongs to you. Your QuickBooks Online or Xero account remains yours at all times.

If your engagement with PixelCrest ends, you retain full ownership of and access to your accounting data. PixelCrest will not restrict access to, withhold, or charge fees for releasing your data.

Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted website connections, access controls, secure password practices, and two-factor authentication where available.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

  • Consultation form submissions are retained as long as needed to follow up with you.
  • Client financial data remains in the accounting platforms you control.
  • Internal engagement records are retained for 7 years after the end of services, consistent with accounting industry standards and CPA Ontario professional requirements.
  • Email marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law and professional retention requirements, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the basis for processing, and you may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
